Byname Support
Every question, bug report and disagreement about a meaning goes to one address, and a person answers it: support@axoniteglobal.com.
If something is broken
Settings has a “Report a problem” button. It opens a mail draft with the app version, the build number and your phone model already in it, which is usually most of what we need to find the fault. You send that draft yourself, and you can cut anything you’d rather keep to yourself before it goes. The app never sends it for you. If it won’t open far enough to reach Settings, write to us instead with your phone model and roughly when the trouble started.
Getting a room back
A room is found by its code, not by the phone that made it. On a new handset, or after reinstalling, open the app, type the current room code and pick which of you is which. You take your own place back, your partner keeps theirs, and every name you had already swiped on stays swiped. Codes change whenever somebody joins or leaves a room, so if the one you wrote down is refused, ask your partner for the current one. It sits on their pairing screen.
Restoring a purchase
The unlock belongs to the room rather than to a phone, so if you paired with someone and either of you paid, you both have it. On a new handset, open a locked feature and tap “Restore a purchase” at the bottom of the unlock screen. If nothing turns up, you’re most likely signed in to a different store account: a purchase made under another Apple ID or Google account can’t be seen from this one.
Deleting your data
Settings has “Erase everything in this app”, and it takes a few seconds. Delete your data sets out what that removes, and what to do if the app is already off your phone.
